Why Bring Real Life Skills into Your School?
Personal
Responsibility
Students learn how their choices and daily habits influence their results. They practise self-discipline, set meaningful goals, and take practical steps toward achieving them.
Emotions and Relationships
Students explore ways to recognize and manage their emotions, respond thoughtfully to challenges, and communicate effectively. They practise listening and considering other perspectives.
Decisions and
Action
Students learn to consider options, anticipate consequences, and seek solutions. Each lesson encourages them to apply what they have learned to situations in their own lives.
Developed by Educators.
Built for Real Classrooms.
Real Life Skills grew out of our work at Riverbend Academy, the independent school we founded in Ontario, Canada. We wanted our students to develop the confidence, character, and practical skills they would use throughout their lives.
As educators and school leaders, we also understand the demands on teachers. We developed structured lessons, Student Workbooks, and clear Teacher Guides to help schools teach these skills consistently, with manageable preparation.
